NIFT 2023 Admit Card Supposed to be Released Today; See details here

NIFT 2023 Admit Card: National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) was supposed to release the admit card of NIFT 2023 on 15th January but has not released yet. NIFT Admit Card 2023 is expected to be released soon. Candidates will be able to download the admit card of National Institute of Fashion Technology 2023 by entering the required credentials like application number and password or DOB.

Once admit card released, registered candidates can check and download the same from the official website nift.ac.in.

As per the official schedule available on the official website, the admit cards will be issued tomorrow and the NIFT entrance exam will be conducted on February 5.

NIFT 2023 Important Dates:

  • NIFT 2023 admit card release date: January 15, 2023 (Expected 16th January)
  • NIFT CBT entrance examination for all UG & PG programmes: February 5, 2023
  • NIFT 2023 entrance examination result: March 2023

How To Download NIFT Admit Card?

STEP 1: Visit the official website- nift.ac.in.

STEP 2: On the homepage, click on the ‘admission’ tab.

STEP 3: A new page will appear on the screen.

STEP 4: Now, click on the link NIFT 2023 admit card’.

STEP 5: A new page will appear on the screen.

STEP 6: Enter the asked credentials and click on the submit option.

STEP 7: Your admit card will appear on the screen.

STEP 8: Download the same and take a printout for future reference.

Things to Carry Along with NIFT Admit Card 2023

Candidates must carry any of the following identity cards along with the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) Admit Card 2023 to the exam centres:

  • Voter ID card
  • Pan card
  • Passport
  • Aadhar card
  • Driving license
  • Student Identity card issued by current school/college

Note that the photocopy or digital copy of the Identity Card is not acceptable at the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) exam centres.

About NIFT:

NIFT was established in 1986 under the Ministry of Textiles of the Government of India. It was declared as a statutory institute in 2006 and empowered to grant its own degree by the NIFT Act of the Indian Parliament.

Along with the Ministry of Textiles, NIFT is in the process of creating a India specific size chart. The project was fully underway in 2021.

NIFT Campuses:

NIFT currently has 18 campuses spread across the country. The first campus was established in 1986 in Haus Khaz, New Delhi. The campuses at Chennai, Kolkata, Gandhinagar, Hyderabad, and Mumbai were set up in 1995, followed by the Bengaluru campus in 1997. The campus in Bhopal was set up in June 2008, Bhubaneshwar in 2010, Jodhpur in 2010, Kangra in 2009, Kannur temporarily in 2008 but permanently in 2012, and Patna in 2008.

Raebareli in 2007, Shillong in 2008, Srinagar in 2016, Panchkula temporarily in 2019 but permanently in 2022. Daman became the latest edition in the NIFT network established in 2022.
