SSC Delhi Police Head Constable (AWO/TPO) Recruitment 2022 Notification Out: All Details, Steps To Apply

A notice of recruitment for the post of SSC Delhi Police Head Constable 2022 has been published online for both male and female candidates to fill the positions of AWO and TPO. The 12th pass in science is required to be eligible for consideration for these positions.

The total number of candidates the Delhi Police Department will recruit for service is 857. Candidates who have completed an Industrial Training Institute (ITI) course in Mechanic-Cum-Operator (Electronics Comm. System) are also qualified. . Delhi Police Head Constable Eligibility Criteria 2022

Educational Qualification:

A candidate must have obtained either an ITI course in Mechanic-Cum-Operator (Electronics Comm. System) or passed their Intermediate level/12th Examination with Science and Math from a recognised board.

Professional Qualification:

Applicants are required to have an English Word Processing Speed of 1000 key depressions in 15 minutes, in addition to having a fundamental understanding of how computers work.

Age Limit:

As of 01st July 2022, applicants for the position of Head Constable in the Delhi Police must be between the ages of 18 to 27 to be considered.

Step 1: Go to the Staff Selection Commission’s (SSC) official website at ssc.nic.in.

Step 2: Next, click on the ‘Registration Now’ link 

Step 3: Then, fill in all the details to register yourself on the Staff Selection Commission portal. To ensure successful registration, you will need to fill in the required information, which includes your name, date of birth, educational qualification, gender, mobile number, and email id, among other things.

Step 4: After completing registration, go to the home page again. After you have entered your registration number, password, and the captcha code, click the login button.

Step 5: Next, on the ‘Latest Notifications’ tab, click on the ‘Apply’ link in ‘Head Constable {Assistant Wireless Operator (AWO)/Tele-Printer Operator (TPO)} in Delhi Police Examination-2022’ Section.

Step 6: Complete the application form with as much attention to detail as possible, paying particular attention to areas such as your category, post preference, exam centre preference, etc.

Step 7: Then, you will need to upload your photograph, signature, and any additional documents in the size and format that is necessary.

Step 8: The next step is to pay the application fees online. The fees may be paid by using the online mode of payment.

Step 9: After the application fees have been paid, select the “Submit” button.


Step 10: Now, your application will be successfully completed. Take a printout of your application form after downloading it.
