IIM-Indore Final Placement Student Gets Rs 1.14 Crore Package

Indian Institute of Management, Indore (IIM-Indore) final placement is over and a student has been offered an annual salary package of Rs 1.14 crore for a domestic job. According to an IIM-Indore official, this is the highest pay package during the final placements of this session. The highest salary offered during placements last season was Rs 49 lakh.
During the final placements of this session, more than 160 domestic and foreign companies offered an average salary of Rs 30.21 lakh to 568 students of IIM-Indore. Those who have got offers include students of two-year Post Graduate Program (PGP) and five-year Integrated Program in Management (IPM). Both the courses are considered equivalent to MBA.
According to IIM-Indore the highest number of job offers (29 per cent) came from the consulting sector, followed by general management and operations at 19 per cent, finance and marketing at 18 per cent and information technology at 16 per cent.
The median compensation, according to a release shared by the institute, is Rs 27.20 lakh per annum, which is a 12.9% increase over the previous year.
This year, the institute has tied up with 80+ new recruiters including Aarti Industries, Adani Group, African Industries Group, Alkem Laboratories, AM/NS, Ambit Capital, Bira 91, Blackrock, CavinKare, Citibank, DCM Shriram, Delhivery, DISYS, Dolcera, Edelweiss Alternative Asset Advisors, etc. are included.
Meanwhile, IPM Social Internship at IIM-Indore, with 122 students opting for campus placement, has achieved a 100 per cent placement record with 127 offers.
The consulting, banking, financial services and insurance (BFSI), and technology, media and telecommunications (TMT) sectors saw the highest participation, accounting for over three-fourths of the total offers.
