FMGE Eligibility Certificate 2026: The National Medical Commission (NMC) will open the online application portal for the Eligibility Certificate (EC), a mandatory requirement for the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE), on September 1, 2026, at 10:00 AM. The deadline for submitting applications is September 30, 2026, by 6:00 PM.
The NMC has advised candidates who have not yet obtained the Eligibility Certificate to apply via the online portal and to carefully verify all details before submission. The Commission has also cautioned candidates against making errors in their applications and advised them to keep their documents ready and provide an active mobile number.

Candidates who have not yet obtained the Eligibility Certificate must apply through the NMC portal. The application schedule is as follows:

According to the public notice, candidates who have already applied to the NMC for an eligibility certificate do not need to apply again. The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) may conduct the FMGE screening test in the coming months. Candidates required to hold an eligibility certificate cannot apply for the screening test without the certificate issued by the NMC.
