CBSE Results 2022: Term 1, Term 2 Weightage Criteria
In the beginning, let’s understand the basic – the weightage criteria is not defined. In the earlier circular, the Board had indicated that the weightage of both the terms may be equal. However, it is now uncertain.
In the CBSE circular dated March 11, 2022, the Board has stated that ‘the weightage of Term 1 and Term 2 will be decided at the time of declaration of result of Term II and accordingly, the final performance will be calculated’.
In simple words, it is quite possible that the board may decide to give 50 percent weightage to both the posts or may give more weightage to term 2 marks and lesser weightage to term 1 mark.
Also, the marks will be moderated after the Term 2 examinations and also at the time of calculation of CBSE Result 2022. Remember, these are only numbers and the final result including toppers, merit list, pass and fail will be decided after term 2 Exams.
Students are advised to prepare well and now concentrate on Term 2 exams. CBSE Class 10th, 12th Term 2 Exam 2022 will start from April 26, 2022. The board has already released the detailed date sheet.
