NEET PG 2024 will be Conducted not NExT for Admission to PG Medical Education

NEET PG 2024: According to a provisional schedule issued on Thursday by the National Board of Examinations, students who want to pursue postgraduate medical education next year will have to qualify the NEET-PG exam and not the new National Exit Test (NExT), which is in the works. The schedule states that NEET PG 2024 will be held on March 3.
This may provide relief to many students who are afraid of the new format of the exam.
As per the recent NBE notice, NBESM will conduct the following examinations as per the calendar mentioned below, till any further updates.

Although the current format of examinations may continue, NMC is looking at ways to streamline the counseling process and reduce seat vacancies. More than 1,400 post graduation medical seats remain vacant even after four rounds of PG counselling. Despite the qualifying percentage being reduced to zero for the current session, there has not been a huge reduction in the vacancy.
