Top 10 Medical Colleges in India: NIRF Ranking 2022.

All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) New Delhi has topped the medical category in the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF 2022) for the fifth time in a row.

Top 10 Medical Colleges in India: Education minister Dharmendra Pradhan has declared the seventh edition of National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) ranking 2022.

All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) New Delhi has topped the medical category in the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF 2022) for the fifth time in a row. PGIMER Chandigarh and Christian Medical College, Vellore have retained the second and third positions respectively.

With all medical colleges accepting NEET exam scores for MBBS and BDS admissions, apart from AIIMS and JIPMER, it is important for higher education candidates to get a fair idea of the status of medical colleges in India.

In the pharmacy category, the top institute is Jamia Hamdard, Delhi followed by National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research, Hyderabad and Punjab University, Chandigarh at the second and third positions respectively.

The ranking framework evaluates institutions on five broad generic groups of parameters of Teaching, Learning and Resources (TLR), Research and Professional Practice (RP), Graduation Outcomes (GO), Outreach and Inclusivity (OI) and Perception (PR).

NIRF India Ranking 2022 has been announced for 11 categories. This includes overall, university, management, college, pharmacy, medical, engineering, architecture, ARIIA (Atal Ranking of Institutions on Innovation Achievements), law and research institutions.
