KCET 2022: The Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) 2022 counselling has been made available by the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA). The dates for counselling are available for candidates to view on the official website, kea.kar.nic.in.
The document verification procedure will be carried out from October 7 to October 8 in accordance with the timetable. From October 7 to October 10, the counselling verification slip will be made accessible.
The results of the KCET 2022 mock seat allocation will be disclosed on October 13 at 2:00 PM, and the results of the KCET final seat allocation will be made public on October 17 at 2:00 PM. The deadline for college reporting is October 22 at 5:30 p.m.
After the Karnataka High Court accepted the expert committee’s recommendations, which suggested a normalisation approach to examine the repeaters, KEA had announced the updated ranking list on October 1.
Six points in physics, five in chemistry, seven in mathematics, and a total of six for the 100 qualifying scores were subtracted to evaluate the repeaters in accordance with the expert committee’s recommendations. To protect the interests of the candidates, the committee also recommended raising the percentage of seats connected to IT to 10%.
The KCET test was given this year on June 16, 17, and 18. 2,16,559 applicants applied in total, and 2,10,829 of those candidates showed up for the test.
