NEET UG 2026 Re-exam City Intimation Slip: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the exam city intimation slip for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG) 2026 re-exam, enabling candidates to check the city where their exam centre is located. The slip is now available on the official NTA website, neet.nta.nic.in.
The re-test for the national-level medical entrance exam is scheduled for June 21, 2026; the earlier exam, held on May 3, was cancelled amidst allegations of a paper leak. As per the notice, the NEET UG 2026 re-exam will take place in pen-and-paper mode from 2:00 PM to 5:15 PM. It will be conducted in 551 cities in India and 14 cities abroad. Candidates can download their city intimation slip by logging in using their application credentials.

The NTA has clarified that the ‘city intimation slip’ is not the admit card. It only informs candidates of the city where their exam centre will be, allowing them to arrange travel and accommodation in advance. The admit card will be released separately closer to the examination date.
Cancellation of the Previous NEET Exam, a re-examination for NEET UG 2026 is Being Held
Following the cancellation of the previous NEET exam, a re-examination for NEET UG 2026 is being held. Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has already announced that candidates will not be charged any extra fees for the re-test, and students will be allowed to select their preferred exam city for the new test.
