Some protests continued, as demonstrators stated that their primary demand was a CBI inquiry

Students welcomed the decision, and activist Sonam Wangchuk described it as a “win for all.” However, some protests continued, as demonstrators stated that their primary demand for a CBI inquiry had not yet been met. The JPSC-JSSC Reforms Manch declared that they would persist with their protest until the government agreed to an investigation. Further talks between the two sides were also scheduled.
