NEET PG 2026 City Intimation Slip Updates: The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has released the city intimation slip for the NEET PG 2026 examination on nbe.edu.in. This slip informs candidates about the exam city allotted for the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test Postgraduate (NEET PG) 2026. The exam will be conducted on August 30, 2026, in an offline, computer-based mode at centres across the country.
The city intimation slip has been released ahead of the admit card, while the hall ticket (admit card) is scheduled for release on August 27. Candidates who have completed the NEET PG 2026 application process can view their city details on the official NBEMS website using their login credentials to check specific exam centre information. The NEET PG 2026 application window was open from July 1 to July 21, 2026, and the results are scheduled to be declared by September 30, 2026.
The board has announced a new correction window for candidates whose applications contain errors. According to the NBEMS notice, candidates now have until August 15 to modify certain details and their images (including photographs and signatures).

A key change this year relates to the selection and allotment of exam cities. NBEMS has clarified that the allotment of exam cities or centres will not be done on a ‘first-come, first-served’ basis. Therefore, applying early does not grant any preferential right to the allotment of a specific exam state, city, or centre. Under the NEET PG 2026 process, candidates were required to select three preferred exam states. The first preferred examination state was required to be the same as the state of correspondence mentioned in the application form, while the other two choices had to be selected from neighbouring states.
NBEMS has also clarified that the correspondence address and examination state preferences cannot be changed after the application has been submitted (even during the edit window). The purpose of the city intimation slip is to assist candidates in making travel and accommodation arrangements before the examination.
