IIT Delhi Placement; Students got 480 Job Offers on the first day

IIT Delhi Placement: The placement season has started in the Indian Institutes of Technology for the academic year 2022-23. On the first day of placements, Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi (IIT-D) recorded around 480 full-time job offers (including pre-placement offers), with around 450 unique selections achieved by IIT Delhi students by  the end of first day of placement (1st December).

Out of 480 full-time job offers, some students have also received multiple job offers. Top recruiters on campus in terms of number of students on the first day include Microsoft, Goldman Sachs and Texas Instruments.

Career Mantra

Around 25 students have received international job offers from various countries such as Hong Kong, Japan, Netherlands, Singapore, South Korea, United Kingdom and the United States.

 “The Office of Career Services at IIT Delhi is working to maximize the placements of students availing our services. We have a healthy mix and lineup of companies from different sectors to cater to the diverse needs and aspirations of our student community,” said Professor R. says Ayothiraman, professor in-charge, Career Services Office.

According to the institute, the recruitment process has seen registration from over 360 national and international firms, offering over 660 job profiles across various sectors.

In 2022, at the end of the first day of placements, 650 full-time job offers were made, of which about 550 were unique job selections including more than 250 pre-placement offers (PPOs). Last year, 20 students received international job offers from Hong Kong, the Netherlands, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, the United Kingdom and the United States. Some students had accepted domestic offers rather than international offers.
