Indian Institute of Management Mumbai Launches ‘Artepreneur’ PGDM Course in Creative Leadership for Performing Arts

Indian Institute of Management Mumbai (IIM Mumbai), in collaboration with KKala (KKALA – Kailash Kher Academy For Learning Art, a creative education platform founded by musician Kailash Kher), has announced the launch of ‘Artepreneur’, a postgraduate diploma in creative leadership for performing arts.

The one-year programme is scheduled to take place from June 2026 to May 2027 and aims to prepare aspiring performing arts leaders, creative entrepreneurs, and artists who wish to combine artistic practice with business and leadership skills.

According to an official statement, the programme will cover areas such as personal branding, artistic foundations, project execution, financial literacy, marketing, leadership, and entrepreneurship. The course is designed to integrate artistic disciplines, including theatre, music, dance, and yoga, with a management framework. Indian Institute of Management Mumbai (IIM Mumbai) said the combination aims to prepare participants to take on complex challenges in both cultural and organisational spheres.
