NIRF MBA Rankings 2025: The Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), historically known for their engineering programmes, are increasingly making their presence felt in the field of management education, as evident from the results of the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) 2025.

In this year’s ranking, the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi ranked the highest among all IIT institutes, securing the fourth position in the management category. Right after it, IIT Kharagpur was ranked 12th, while IIT Madras and IIT Bombay were ranked 13th and 14th, respectively. Additionally, IIT Roorkee was ranked 22nd.

In the NIRF MBA Rankings 2025, the top ten positions in the management category were dominated by Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs). IIM Ahmedabad, IIM Bangalore and IIM Kozhikode occupied the top three spots, while IIM Lucknow, IIM Calcutta, IIM Indore and IIM Mumbai were ranked fifth and eighth. Management Development Institute (MDI), Gurgaon and XLRI – Xavier School of Management, Jamshedpur were ranked ninth and tenth respectively.
