IIM Ahmedabad Records 100% Summer Placements for PGP 2027 Class: List of Companies, Key Sectors, and Other Details

IIM Ahmedabad Records 100% Summer Placements: Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIM Ahmedabad) has completed the summer placement process for the PGP Class of 2027. According to India’s top Business School, this year too, IIM-Ahmedabad achieved 100% placements. The process was conducted in a hybrid format with both online and offline companies participating.

IIM Ahmedabad’s summer placements were conducted in three cohorts, held between October 28 and November 3, and various recruiters from different sectors offered roles to participating students in the 2025-26 cohort. A brief overview of this year’s placements follows.

IIM Ahmedabad Records 100% Summer Placements: Cluster 2

IIM Placements

The companies in Cluster 2 comprised seven categories: “Advertising and Media”, “Conglomerates”, “Consumer Goods”, “Consumer Services”, “Financial Platforms and Services”, “Pharmaceuticals and Healthcare”, and “Retail B2B and Retail E-Commerce”.

The process was conducted in a hybrid mode, with companies participating online as well as offline.

The cluster saw a large pool of recruiters offering over 60 roles. Mahindra & Mahindra Group led the group with the most hires. Procter & Gamble made the most hires in the consumer goods group, followed by ITC Limited. Other major recruiters in the cluster included AB InBev, Asian Paints, The Coca-Cola Company, Dabur, Diageo India, Hindustan Unilever Limited, Nestlé, Purple, United Breweries Limited, Wipro Consumer Care, and Zydus Wellness.

 FinIQ Consulting was the top recruiter in the Financial Platforms and Services cluster. JioStar led the list of recruiters with the most hires in the Advertising and Media cluster. Amazon, followed by Flipkart, were the top recruiters in the Retail B2B and Retail E-Commerce cluster.

The Pharmaceuticals and Healthcare cluster demonstrated great confidence in the talent pool, with active participation from Glenmark Pharmaceuticals Limited, Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories, Bharat Serums & Vaccines Limited, Emcure Pharmaceuticals Limited, and Optum. The cluster also saw international opportunities for students with Fast Retailing Company Limited.

Increased participation was seen with the following firms participating for the first time for summer placements: Dainik Bhaskar (advertising and media), Helion (consumer goods), Geostar (advertising and media), Jupiter Money (financial platforms and services), Medtronic India Pvt Ltd (pharmaceuticals and healthcare) and Philip Morris International (consumer goods).

IIM Ahmedabad Records 100% Summer Placements: 3rd Cluster

The 3rd cluster of the Summer Placement process for the PGP class of 2027 was held on 3rd November 2026 at the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad (IIM Ahmedabad). The firms that participated in Cluster 3 comprised of fourteen cohorts: “Consumer Technology”, “Niche Consulting”, “Gaming and Sports”, “Consumer Electronics”, “Enterprise Technology”, “Banking & Insurance”, “Analytics & IT Consulting”, “Core Manufacturing & Infrastructure”, “Education Technology”, “Renewable Energy & Green Technology”, “Social Enterprises & NGO”, “Government Enterprises”, “Logistics”, “Real Estate” and “Food & Dairy”

The process was conducted in a hybrid format, allowing companies to participate both online and offline.

This cluster saw a significant number of opportunities, with over 90 positions available across various firms in different groups. Notable recruiters in the Enterprise Technology cluster included Adobe, Apple, Microsoft, Media.net, Salesforce, and Sprinklr. Tata Consultancy Services led the recruitment in the Niche Consulting cluster. Companies like Eternal (Zomato Group) and Ola presented opportunities in the Consumer Technology cluster, while Samsung Electronics participated in the Consumer Electronics cluster.

The Infrastructure and Core Manufacturing cluster benefited from participation from companies including Hero MotoCorp, Suzuki Japan, and Tata Steel, among others. The participation of several firms in the clusters for the first time reflected the industry’s confidence in the organisation.

Some notable first-time recruiters include Hero MotoCorp (Infrastructure and Core Manufacturing), SKF India (Infrastructure and Core Manufacturing), Eternal (Zomato Group) (Consumer Technology), Ultimate Cronos Group (Enterprise Technology) and Apple (Enterprise Technology).
