President Of India Said That November 7 Should be Students’ Day.

President Ram Nath Kovind was speaking after worshiping Ambedkar's Kalash and paying floral tributes to Lord Buddha at Ambadawe in Maharashtra.

President of India Ram Nath Kovind said that the date of 7th November should be celebrated as ‘Students Day’ all over India. BR Ambedkar had enrolled in the school on 7th November 1906, so keeping in mind the contribution which is today known as the father of Indian constitution, he contributed in the field of education. The President said that the day should be designated as Students’ Day.

President of India Ram Nath Kovind was speaking after worshiping Ambedkar’s Kalash and paying floral tributes to Lord Buddha at Ambadawe in Ratnagiri district of Maharashtra. Ambedkar is the ancestral village of Ambedkar. He also said that Ambadawe is known as “Sphooti Bhoomi” (Land of Inspiration), which is a complete tribute to Ambedkar, he was quoted in PTI.

According to a report in PTI, there should be a social order in every village based on the values ​​of harmony, compassion and equality nurtured by Babasaheb, according to the ideal of “Sphurti Bhoomi”.

After Dalit Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DICCI) tried to make the village self-reliant through several measures, he said that collective efforts to make people self-reliant through promotion of small enterprises would be transformative.

The President further said that Babasaheb advocated self-employment and also set up a consulting firm in the trading of stocks and shares. He submitted a memorandum to the then Viceroy Linlithgow, in which he demanded the participation of the underprivileged in the CPWD tenders. The President said that due to his various social and political responsibilities, he could not give time to entrepreneurship.
