NEET PG 2023: The National Board of Examinations (NBE) released the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test-Post Graduate (NEET PG 2023) scorecard on March 26. Medical aspirants who qualified as per the NEET PG 2023 result can download their individual scorecard from official website natboard.edu.in or nbe.edu.in with application ID and password.
NEET PG 2023 exam was conducted on March 5, 2023 across 902 exam centers in 277 cities. A total of 2,08,898 candidates appeared in the examination. According to the Medical aspirants the question paper was easy. The overall difficulty level was easy to moderate.
On March 14, 2023 the result of NEET PG was declared and the cut-off score for General and EWS categories is 291, for General-PwBD candidates it is 274, and SC, ST, OBC need to get 257 marks out of 800.
The Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) will also announce the NEET PG counseling schedule soon at mcc.nic.in. Meanwhile, the state counseling authorities will conduct their own counseling rounds for 50 per cent state quota seats in government colleges and 100 per cent seats in private medical and minority institutions.
NEET PG counseling includes steps like online registration, payment of fee, filling preferences for college and branches, seat allotment result and reporting. Candidates should note that the MCC conducts the counseling for allotment of 50% All India Quota seats, while the respective state counseling authorities conduct the counseling for the remaining 50% seats. A total of 4 rounds of counseling is conducted for AIQ seat allotment.
