JEE Advanced 2022 Result Updates: IIT Bombay To Announce Result Tomorrow At Jeeadv.ac.in

Qualified candidates in JEE Advanced 2022 can participate in the Joint Seat Allotment (JoSAA) counseling process to be held on 12 September. Candidates can confirm the allotment result by selecting Freeze, Float and Slide options.

The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT Bombay) will announce the result of the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Advanced 2022) on Sunday, September 11. As per the schedule, JEE Advanced 2022 result will be declared at 10 am, candidates can download the scorecard on the official website- jeeadv.ac.in. JEE Advanced 2022 merit list will also be declared along with the result.

Candidates can also access JEE Advanced 2022 final answer key by using login credentials- application number, password. 1.56 lakh candidates had appeared for JEE Advanced 2022 held on August 28.

  1. Visit the official website-jeeadv.ac.in
  2. Click on JEE Advanced 2022 result link
  3. Insert login credentials- JEE Advanced registration number and date of birth
  4. Click on submit
  5. Download JEE Advanced 2022 scorecard, take a print out for further reference.

JEE Advanced: Foreign Candidates

Candidates who are NOT citizens of India (by birth or naturalized) and/or are OCI/PIO card holders will be treated as foreign nationals. Foreign national candidates who have studied or are studying ABROAD at 10+2 level or equivalent at the time of registration for JEE (Advanced) 2022, are not required to write JEE (Main) 2022 and may register for JEE (Advanced) 2022 directly subject to fulfilment of other eligibility criteria mentioned below.

Foreign national candidates who have studied or are studying in INDIA at 10+2 level or equivalent are required to write JEE (Main) 2022 and qualify for JEE (Advanced) 2022 under the OPEN category. All eligibility criteria (1 to 5) also apply to such candidates [see Clause 11. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR INDIAN NATIONALS FOR APPEARING FOR JEE (ADVANCED) 2022 of the Information Brochure 2022].

All foreign national candidates will be considered in addition to, and not as a part of the 2,50,000 Indian national candidates who qualify for appearing in JEE (Advanced) 2022. All the seats allotted to the foreign national candidates will be supernumerary with a cap of 10% of total number of seats in every course.

These candidates are outside the ambit of reservation of seats under the GEN-EWS, OBC-NCL, SC, ST and PwD categories/sub-categories as specified in the Information Brochure of JEE (Advanced) 2022. There are no separate supernumerary seats or sub-category for females in the foreign national supernumerary seats.
