NEET-PG-2022: Internship Completion Deadline for Doctors Extended till July 31.
NBE has extended the internship completion deadline for MBBS doctors to July 31 instead of the earlier May 31. NEET MDS may also be postponed.
The National Board of Examination, NBE, which conducts the NEET exam, has extended the internship completion deadline for candidates who wish to appear for NEET-PG-2022.
The earlier deadline for MBBS students to complete their mandatory one-year internship period was May 31 and now it has been extended till July 31. Earlier, a lot of interns were ineligible for NEET PG 2022 as they used to be unable to complete their internship before the exam registration.
The official notice of internship deadline for NEET-PG-2022 can be accessed on the official website, natboard.edu.in. NEET PG 2022 will be conducted on May 21 after a postponement of six to eight weeks, as decided after the Supreme Court hearing.
NEET MDS 2022 which is conducted for admission to dental courses can also be postponed by four to six weeks now and preferably conducted around the same date as NEET PG 2022. It is now scheduled for March 6.
The date for completion of mandatory internship period for admission to MDS courses has also been extended till July 31 as around 2500 interns will be ineligible to appear for NEET MDS 2022.
