NEET MDS cut-off reduces by 23.029 percentage for both reserved and unreserved categories.
The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW)has decreased the percentile for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test MDS 2021 cut-off by 23.09 percentage. This has been done for both reserved and unreserved categories. As per the official notification, currently, the new NEET MDS cut-off for the general category is 26.971 percentile, for the reserved category; it is 16.971 percentile and for the UR-PWD category, the NEET 2021 MDS cut-off is 21.971 percentage.
The health ministry has also asked the National Board of Examinations (NBE) to release the revised MDS result according to the currently reduced percentile. This is applicable for the academic year 2021-22. For more updates and information, candidates are advised to keep a check on the official website.
NEET MDS Counselling Updates:
Common counselling is conducted for all MDS qualified candidates and admission is given to postgraduate courses(Diploma/MDS) in all dental educational institutions on the basis of merit list.
Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) conducts the NEET 2021MDS counselling for the 50% All India Quota seats of the contributing States
Counselling for all state quota seats is conducted by the state government or any authority designated by the state government.
Masters of Dental Surgery 2022 Exam Date:
The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Masters of Dental Surgery (MDS) is a postgraduate medical exam conducted by the National Board of Examinations (NBE). NBE has announced NEET 2022 exam date, which is June 4. Earlier, the exam date of MDS 2022 was December 19, 2021. Through MDS 2022 scores, admission to 6,501 seats offered to 50% All India Quota seats, 50% state quota seats, deemed/central universities, ESIC, and private universities are granted.
NBE will release NEET MDS 2022 application form on the official website – nbe.edu.in. The eligible candidates can fill the NET MDS application form 2022. The NEET MDS registration can be done till the last date. After the successful submission of the NEET MDS application form, aspirants can use the facility of NEET MDS correction window 2022 to make corrections in the application form.
