CLAT Counselling 2023: Second Allotment List Released Today.

The last date for admission under the second admission list is January 31. Seat allotted candidates will have the option to freeze, float or withdraw their seat from the counselling process.

CLAT Counselling 2023: The Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) will release the second allotment list for Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2023 counseling today, January 27. Candidates will be able to check the seat allotment list on the official website of CLAT – consortiumofnlus.ac. in.

The last date for admission under the second admission list is January 31. Seat allotted candidates will have the option to freeze, float or withdraw their seat from the counselling process.

Candidates who will be allotted seat as per National Law Universities (NLU) preferences will be required to pay a non-refundable confirmation fee of Rs 20,000 before choosing ‘Freeze’ or ‘Float’ option before the deadline. If the candidate is satisfied with the allotted seat, accepts it, and is not interested in participating in the next round of seat allotment or counselling, they can ‘freeze’ the seat allotment.

In case the candidate has not been allotted their first preference of National Law Universities (NLU) and chooses to leave ‘open’ the possibility of getting a higher preference, they can choose the ‘float’ option.

If a candidate does not wish to further participate in the counseling process, candidates can choose to ‘exit’ the admission counseling process.

CLAT Counselling 2023: How to check second merit list

Step 1: Visit the official website –consortiumofnlus.ac.in.

Step 2: Login into the CLAT 2023 counselling portal using your registered mobile number and password.

Step 3: CLAT 2023 second allotment list will be appeared on the screen.

Step 4: Check your result and download result for future reference.

National Law Universities (NLUs) are public law schools in India that were established in accordance with the second generation reforms to legal education implemented by the Bar Council of India. The first NLU was the National Law School of India University NLU Bangalore which admitted its first batch in 1988.
