FMGE 2026: The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (An Autonomous Body under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India) has declared the results of the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) June 2026 on its official website, natboard.edu.in. According to the notification, out of 37,448 candidates who appeared for the examination, only 5,086 candidates passed.

National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences conducted the FMGE 2026 (June) exam across the country on June 28, 2026. According to the notification, “A copy of the notice will be available on the NBEMS website until the results of the next FMGE session are announced.” It was further stated that candidates taking the exam can download their individual scorecards from the NBEMS website starting July 16, 2026.

31,645 Candidates Failed the Exam

According to the scorecard details released by NBEMS, a total of 31,645 candidates failed the exam, while 1,148 candidates did not appear for it. NBEMS stated that every question in the FMGE June 2026 paper was reviewed by faculty members from the respective specialty areas to verify the technical accuracy of both the questions and the answer keys.

The board stated, “Marks have been awarded to all candidates who appeared for the exam for questions found to be technically incorrect.” The board further clarified that for questions with two correct answers, marks were awarded to candidates who had selected either of the correct options.
