One of the major changes this year is that test city allotment will not be conducted on a ‘first-come, first-served’ basis. NBEMS has advised candidates against rushing to submit their applications, as early registration will not confer any advantage in securing a preferred test state, city, or exam centre.
Selection of Three Preferred Test States is Mandatory
Candidates must select three preferred test states while filling out the application form. The first preferred test state must match the state associated with the correspondence address provided in the application. The remaining two choices must be neighbouring states.
NBEMS has clarified that while efforts will be made to allot test cities based on candidate preferences, it reserves the right to allot a test city or centre anywhere in India due to administrative, security, technical, or logistical reasons.
