QS Global MBA Rankings 2026: Fourteen Indian institutions have made it to the QS Global MBA and Business Masters Rankings 2026, with three of the country’s premier IIMs securing positions in the global top 100. IIM Bangalore has moved up one spot from last year to 52nd. IIM Ahmedabad has moved up two spots to 58th, while IIM Calcutta has moved up one spot to 64th. According to QS, these gains reflect consistent strong performance in employability, return on investment, and thought leadership.

Globally, the United States continues to dominate the top tier. The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania has been ranked the world’s best MBA program for the first time since 2020. Harvard Business School is ranked second, while the MIT Sloan School of Management has secured third place. Last year’s leader, Stanford Graduate School of Business, has slipped to fourth place due to declines in employability and diversity scores, the rankings show.

According to this year’s results, Indian institutions’ employability and alumni outcomes remain high, although diversity remains a challenge compared to global peers.
