On Sunday, over 22.79 lakh medical aspirants appeared for the NEET UG 2026 examination. Following the conclusion of the exam, mixed reactions emerged from students across various cities, while some described the paper as “easy,” others stated that the difficulty level was such that it could be solved with relative ease.

Some students characterised the paper as balanced and less time-consuming, particularly the Physics section. Speaking to the news agency, a NEET UG candidate remarked, “It was easy. The Physics section took less time. Comparatively, it was an easy paper. It took me less time to solve it. I don’t know about others, but I finished it in less time.”

Another candidate, expressing confidence after the exam, stated that the paper went well and that they are hopeful of achieving good results. That candidate said, “The paper was excellent. This time, I will clear the exam with a good score. I aspire to become a doctor by pursuing an MBBS degree.”

Some students also praised the arrangements made at the examination centres, describing the overall experience as comfortable. Speaking after the exam, a candidate noted, “Overall, everything was good. Everything felt comfortable. The arrangements were sound. I didn’t perceive any excessive strictness there; everything felt normal.”
