Candidates participating in JoSAA Counselling 2026 can view their allotment results on the official website, josaa.nic.in, using their JEE Main or Advanced login credentials.
The JoSAA counselling process is for candidates seeking admission to BTech programs at various government-funded technical institutes, such as Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), National Institutes of Technology (NITs), Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs), and other government-funded technical institutes (Other-GFTIs).
JoSAA Round 1 Counselling 2026: What’s Next?
With the JoSAA Counselling 2026 Round 1 seat allotment process commencing on June 13, 2026, candidates who have been allotted a seat must complete the mandatory online reporting process. The portal for online reporting will remain open from June 13 to June 26, 2026. This process involves paying the seat acceptance fee, uploading necessary documents, and responding to queries from the verifying authorities.

Candidates are advised to deposit their seat acceptance fees on or before June 26, as the seat will not be confirmed without this payment. JoSAA has scheduled a resolution window on June 29, 2026, to address any issues or discrepancies related to the payment.
Additionally, if candidates receive any queries during the verification process, they must respond to them by June 29, 2026. Round 2 seat allotment will begin on June 30, 2026, and continue as per the official schedule.
