The Indian Institute of Management Calcutta (IIM Calcutta), India’s first national management institute, is affectionately known as India’s premier global business school. IIM Calcutta is famously known for its “Triple Crown” accreditation, being the first Indian business school accredited by AACSB, AMBA, and EQUIS.
The institute has successfully wrapped up its summer placement cycle for the 63rd batch of its flagship two-year MBA programme. Defying broader macroeconomic hiring corrections seen across industries globally, the institute achieved a notable 100% placement rate, cementing its legacy of academic excellence and corporate trust.
The institute’s student placement committee drove the placement process, which concluded ahead of schedule during Cluster 3, breaking previous institutional benchmarks and registering the highest-ever compensation metrics in the business school’s history.
The institute has recorded 100% summer placements for the 63rd batch of its two-year MBA programme, with the average monthly stipend reaching an all-time high of Rs 1.93 lakh and a median stipend of Rs 2 lakh per month.
