XAT 2026: Registration for the Xavier Aptitude Test 2026 is expected to begin soon. According to a information on the official website, 2026 session, the Xavier Aptitude Test will be conducted on Sunday, January 4, 2026 by XLRI Jamshedpur – Xavier School of Management, Jamshedpur on behalf of the Xavier Association of Management Institutes (XAMI). In 2026 session, over 250 institutes across India will accept Xavier Aptitude Test 2026 scores for their MBA and PGDM admissions.
XAT 2026: Who is Eligible to Apply?
MBA aspirants willing to apply for Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) 2026 must have a bachelor’s degree of minimum three years duration in any stream. Candidates who are in their final year of undergraduate (UG) studies can also apply, on the condition that they complete their final examinations by June 10, 2026. There is no defined minimum percentage criterion required in graduation to take XAT.

XAT 2026: Exam pattern
The Xavier Aptitude Test 2026 examination will maintain the same format as in previous years and will be conducted as a computer-based test mode (CBT Mode). The overall duration of the test will be 3 hours and 30 minutes. All questions will be of the objective type (MCQs), with each section aimed at evaluating a candidate’s skills in analytical, logical, and managerial decision-making domains.
Although the first three sections contribute to the percentile score utilized for admissions, the General Knowledge section is assessed independently and is frequently considered during the final selection phases by institutions such as XLRI Jamshedpur, XLRI Delhi-NCR campus. Other Top MBA colleges in India also use XAT score for their admission process and they have own selection procedure.
