GUJCET 2026: The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB) will close registration on January 6, 2026.  Previously, it had extended the GUJCET 2026 registration deadline from December 30 to January 6, 2026. The GUJCET application form 2026 was released on December 16, 2025, and candidates who meet the minimum eligibility criteria can apply through gujcet.gseb.org.

To successfully register, they must pay a Gujarat Common Entrance Test application fee of INR 350 through credit card/debit card/net banking, and the SBI ePay system. The Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GUJCET) 2026 exam is scheduled to be held on March 29, 2026. Candidates can refer to previous years’ GUJCET question papers for practice to improve their chances of qualifying.

ABOUT GUJCET EXAM

The Gujarat Common Entrance Test is a state-level entrance test conducted for admission to academic courses – Engineering Diploma and Pharmacy. This exam is held once a year. Students seeking admission to undergraduate courses in Engineering and Pharmacy can apply for this entrance test. The eligibility criteria for Gujarat Common Entrance Test 2026 are that the candidate must have passed Class 12th from a recognised board or be appearing for the Class 12th examination. The Gujarat Common Entrance Test 2026 exam is conducted by the GSEB (Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board).

After clearing the Gujarat Common Entrance Test, students get admission to private and government colleges in Gujarat. The Gujarat Common Entrance Test score is combined with the Class 12th marks during the admission and counselling process. Candidates who were unable to register earlier and fill out the online application form can now fill out the application form until the deadline date – January 6, 2026.
