CUET 2022-23 Application Process will start from today: Latest Update
CUET 2022 entrance exam will be conducted in the first week of July in computer based entrance test format. Interested students can apply at cuet.samarth.ac.in
National Testing Agency (NTA) will start the application process for Common University Entrance Test (CUET 2022-23) from today. Candidates can fill the online application form for CUET 2022 at the official website – cuet.samarth.ac.in.
CUET 2022-23 will tentatively be held in the first week of July. Undergraduate admissions in all 45 central universities funded by UGC will be done through CUET scores from this academic session. Meanwhile, international students seeking admission in Indian universities are exempted from CUET. Their admission will be done on the basis of existing supernumerary.
According to the official information bulletin, the three-and-a-half-hour computer-based entrance test will consist of multiple choice questions based on the content of Class 12 NCERT textbooks only. CUET will compulsorily have three parts. Students will be marked negatively for wrong answers.
According to the UGC statement, the CUET 2022 entrance exam will be administered by the National Testing Agency (NTA) and will be conducted in 13 languages - Hindi, Marathi, Gujarati, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Urdu, Assamese, Bengali, Punjabi, Oriya and English.
The NTA will conduct the entrance exam of CUET 2022 in two slots. The first slot consists of one language test, two domain-specific papers, and a general test. The second slot of the CUET exam 2022 includes four domain-specific subjects and one optional language subject.
Candidates are not allowed to use a calculator in the CUET 2022 entrance examination. Students will have to do all the calculations by themselves. Any candidate caught with a calculator during the exams will face appropriate repercussions.
