NEET PG 2025 Exam Postponed: The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has postponed the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Postgraduate (NEET PG) 2025. The decision has been taken following the direction of the Supreme Court of India, which directed that the NEET PG 2025 exam be conducted in a single shift to ensure transparency and fairness.
In its recent judgment on the petition (Aditi & Others vs National Board of Medical Examination & Others), the Supreme Court said: “We, accordingly, direct the respondents to make necessary arrangements to conduct the NEET PG 2025 examination in a single shift, ensuring that complete transparency is maintained and that secure centres are identified and made operational.”
Based on this direction, National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) confirmed that NEET PG 2025 will no longer be conducted in two shifts as initially planned.
