IIFT Exam 2023 Cancelled; Considering CAT 2023 Score for MBA Admission 2024

IIFT Exam 2023 : The Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) will accept Common Admission Test (CAT) 2023 scores for admission to two MBA programmes, MBA in International Business and MBA in Business Analytics, from the academic year 2024.

Candidates seeking admission to the 2024 batch of IIFT’s IB and Business Analytics (BA) programs will be shortlisted for WAT, Group Discussion, Extempore, Personal Interview etc. on the basis of CAT 2023 scores.

Therefore, in order to seek admission to IIFT’s MBA (IB) and MBA (BA) 2024 programmes, it is mandatory for all candidates to have a valid CAT 2023 score,” IIFT said in an official statement. The current NTA IIFT exam 2023 has been canceled and will not be conducted anymore

Earlier, the institute used to provide admission to these MBA programs through an entrance exam conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).

With CAT 2023 being a mandatory exam for IIFT admission 2024, IIFT aspirants need to register and apply for CAT 2023 to stand a chance of admission in IIFT for its Delhi and Kolkata campuses. They should also apply separately for IIFT admission as they do for admission to other top non-IIM B-schools like FMS Delhi, SPJIMR Mumbai, MDI Gurgaon, JBIMS. IIFT will release the application forms for admission to the MBA (IB) and MBA (BA) programmes on its official website, iift.ac.in, by the end of September 2023.

CAT 2023 registration started from 2nd August. The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Lucknow will conduct CAT 2023 for admission to management programs offered by the IIMs and Non IIMS participating institutes on November 26 in three shifts.
