Azim Premji Foundation Scholarship 2025: How to Apply for the ₹30,000 Scholarship

Azim Premji Foundation Scholarship 2025 Online Application: The Azim Premji Foundation will soon close the online application window for its scholarship program. This initiative aims to help 2.5 lakh girls from government schools in 18 states pursue higher education. The last date to submit applications is September 30, 2025, at 11:59 PM. According to the official notification, selected students will receive a scholarship of ₹30,000 every year.

This scholarship is available to girls who have passed their 10th and 12th standard examinations from government schools. And students have secured admission to a recognized higher education institution (HEI). Eligible HEIs include all government institutions and some selected private institutions. The scholarship will continue for the entire duration of the undergraduate degree or diploma program, provided the student continues her studies without any interruption.

Scholarship Eligibility Criteria: To apply for the Azim Premji Scholarship 2025, candidates must meet all the following conditions:

I) They must have completed their 10th grade from a government school. They must also have completed their 12th grade from a government school.

II) Both the 10th and 12th grades must have been completed in one of the following states: Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Odisha, Puducherry, Rajasthan, Sikkim, Telangana, Tripura, Uttar Pradesh, or Uttarakhand.

III) Furthermore, candidates must have been admitted as a regular student to the first year (academic session 2025-26) of a 2-5 year undergraduate degree or diploma program offered by a recognized government or private college/university.

Azim Premji Foundation Scholarship 2025: How to Apply?

The scholarship application and disbursement process will follow a four-step procedure. First, applicants must complete the online application form through the official portal. After submitting the form, applications will be reviewed based on eligibility criteria. Upon verification, the scholarship amount will be disbursed in two installments of ₹15,000 each. To continue receiving the scholarship in subsequent years, students must reapply for renewal.
