Indian Influencer living in the US: An Indian-origin lifestyle creator based in the US has revealed how much she earned from brand collaborations last year, sparking considerable interest online. Shivi Chauhan, a working mom based in San Francisco with over 220,000 followers on Instagram, shared that she earned approximately ₹40 lakh in 2025 solely from brand partnerships.
Her content, which resonates strongly with Indian families living abroad, focuses on everyday life in the US, covering everything from skincare and food to travel, career, and parenting.

Detailing her earnings month by month in a video, Chauhan wrote, “How much I earned as a lifestyle content creator in 2025. This is the total from brand partnerships only and does not include digital sales.” According to her, she earned ₹3.8 lakh in January, followed by ₹20,000 in February and ₹5 lakh in March. She earned ₹3.8 lakh in April, ₹5.26 lakh in May, ₹2.6 lakh in June, ₹3.3 lakh in July, ₹5 lakh in August, ₹1.8 lakh in September, ₹2.1 lakh in October, ₹3.7 lakh in November, and ₹3.5 lakh in December.
Indian Influencer Shivi Chauhan also shared that she didn’t initially try to chase brand deals. Instead, she prioritized consistency and authenticity, which eventually led to brands reaching out to her.
Responding to a follower’s question about how she connected with companies, she said, “I focused on creating content, and brands usually reach out to me through the email provided in my bio.”

Responding to a question about how she earns money as a content creator in the US, given the visa restrictions, Indian Influencer Chauhan clarified, “That’s right, we cannot monetize on H1B, L1, or F1 visas. I am a permanent resident of the US.” She further explained that her income comes in both dollars and rupees, stating, “As I’ve answered elsewhere, I earn in both USD and INR, so to keep the numbers simple, a 50-50 split is a good estimate.”
When asked about her journey and how long it took to reach this level of income, Indian influencer Chauhan revealed that she has been creating content for five years. She also shared that her income in 2023 and 2024 was approximately 25 lakh rupees, highlighting the consistent growth behind her success.
