IIT Delhi Placements 2022: More than 50 Students Got Packages of More Than Rs 1 Crore, 650 Job Offers on Day 1

IIT Delhi Placements 2022: The placement season for the academic year 2022-23 has begun in the Indian Institutes of Technology. Indian Institutes of Technology (IIT) Delhi also started its campus placements from December 1 and at the end of the first day, 650 full-time job offers were made, of which around 550 were unique job selections, including over 250 pre-placement offers (PPOs).

Numerous placement offers have also been made to several pupils. Over the same period last year, there has been a 20% increase in the number of job offers received.

More than 50 students have received domestic offers with CTC above Rs. 1 crore. Around 20 students have received international job offers from around the world including Hong Kong, Netherlands, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, United Kingdom and United States. Some students have accepted domestic offers over international offers.

As of now, around 400 national and international organizations offering more than 800 job profiles in various sectors have registered to hire students.

Many students have also received multiple placement offers. There has been a 20 percent increase in the number of job offers received as compared to last year.

Top recruiters on Day 1 included American Express, Bajaj Auto, Boston Consulting Group, Enphase Solar Energy, Intel, Praxis Global Alliance and Strategy&.

This year, the recruitment process is being conducted through both physical and virtual modes depending on the convenience of the recruiter. The placement period is from December to May.

At IIT Delhi, companies are scheduled to conduct their hiring processes in a way that maximises the distribution of recruiters and ensures a good mix of industries on each day, giving them plenty of time to make the best hiring decisions possible.

In international employability rankings, IIT Delhi is the only educational institution from India to rank in the top 50 worldwide.
