UP PCS 2026 Registration: The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has extended the application deadline for the Combined State/Upper Subordinate Services (PCS) Preliminary Examination 2026 to August 3. The Commission has provided an opportunity for candidates who were unable to submit their application forms due to technical issues or other reasons to complete their registration.
Previously, the last date for submitting application forms for the UP PCS 2026 Examination was July 27, and the deadline for making corrections to the forms was August 3. Candidates can still apply online for the upcoming Uttar Pradesh Civil Services Examination on the Commission’s official website, uppsc.up.nic.in, according to the revised schedule.
To apply for the UP PCS 2026 Examination, candidates must submit their personal and educational details along with the registration fee. The application fee is ₹125 for General, OBC, and EWS categories; ₹65 for SC, ST, and Ex-Servicemen; and ₹25 for Persons with Disabilities (PwD). The examination will be conducted in three stages, with the first stage, the UPPSC PCS Preliminary Examination 2026, scheduled for Sunday, December 6, 2026.
UP PCS 2026 Main Examination and the Personality Test
The Commission will announce the dates for the UP PCS 2026 Main Examination and the personality test (interview) at a later stage. While filling out the application form, candidates must ensure they meet all the criteria specified by the Commission, as failure to fulfil any condition could lead to the cancellation of their registration.
