Amazon Prime Video has Unveiled its Lineup of 69 Titles for 2024, Including ‘Panchayat 3’, ‘Mirzapur 3’ and ‘Honey Bunny’.
The line-up includes 27 new shows in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu languages, five returning series, eight original films and 29 features that will be available on Amazon Prime Video after their theatrical release.
Amazon Prime Video on Tuesday announced its 2024 slate of 69 titles, including new shows and movies from leading Indian actors and directors. The announcement was made during the Prime Video Presents event in Mumbai, hosted by filmmaker Karan Johar, which was attended by many stars of Hindi and South cinema.
The line-up includes 27 new shows in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu languages, five returning series, eight original films and 29 features that will be available on Amazon Prime Video after their theatrical release.
Some notable new shows include Varun Dhawan’s Citadel: Honey Bunny, Ananya Panday’s Call Me Bay and Bhumi Pednekar’s Daldal. The films include Abhishek Bachchan’s Be Happy and Anil Kapoor’s Subedaar.
Shows like Panchayat and Mirzapur will enter their third seasons while the second seasons of shows like Paatal Lok, Bandish Bandits and Sujhal – The Vortex will be premiered this year.
Original films releasing on the streaming platform include Sara Ali Khan-led Ae Watan Mere Watan (released on Thursday), Abhishek Bachchan’s Be Happy, Anil Kapoor-led Subedaar and Nushrat Bharucha’s Chhori 2.
The licensed films to be released as post-theatrical releases on Amazon Prime Video include Sidharth Malhotra’s Yoddha, Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon-starrer Teri Baton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya, Tiger Shroff’s Baaghi 4, starring Vicky Kaushal and Trupti Dimri. -Starrer Badnews, Ranveer Singh’s Don 3, etc. Ram Charan’s Game Changer, Pawan Kalyan’s Ustad Bhagat Singh, Akshay Kumar and Riteish Deshmukh-starrer Housefull 5, Ajay Devgan’s Singham Again and Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao-starrer Stree 2.
