Champions Trophy: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Wednesday unveiled India’s new ODI jersey just ahead of the upcoming three-match series against England. The BCCI on its official media platform X showed pictures of key players, including Virat Kohli, Shubman Gill and Shreyas Iyer, proudly wearing the new tricolour gradient jersey.
The excitement among the players was evident as they prepared for the first ODI at the Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadium in Nagpur on Thursday. The subsequent matches will be held at the Barabati Stadium in Cuttack on Sunday and the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on February 12, 2025.
The squad for this series is largely in line with the ICC Champions Trophy squad, with the only change being the inclusion of Varun Chakravarthy in place of Jasprit Bumrah.
India has announced its revised team for the ODI series against England, featuring Rohit Sharma as captain, Shubman Gill as vice-captain, and including players such as Virat Kohli, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Shreyas Iyer, KL Rahul, Rishabh Pant, Ravindra Jadeja, Hardik Pandya, Axar Patel, Kuldeep Yadav, Mohammed Shami, Arshdeep Singh, Washington Sundar, Harshit Rana, and Varun Chakravarthy.
