The Consortium of National Law Universities has opened the registration window for the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2027 today, August 3. Candidates can visit the official website to apply for the upcoming CLAT 2027.
The application process for CLAT 2027 will be conducted online via the official website, consortiumofnlus.ac.in. According to the announced registration schedule, candidates can register for the exam until October 31.

The CLAT 2027 exam will be held nationwide on December 6 in a single shift, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. The exam will be conducted in an offline pen-and-paper format. Candidates preparing for the exam can view the syllabus and exam pattern on the official portal.
This is a national-level entrance test conducted for students seeking admission to undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) law programs offered by National Law Universities (NLUs) in India. Admission to the 5-year integrated LL.B. and 1-year LL.M. programs for the 2027-2028 academic year will be based on CLAT 2027 scores.
Students planning to register for the exam must check the eligibility criteria before applying. Applications will be cancelled if candidates do not meet any of the criteria prescribed by the authorities. The CLAT 2027 application fee is set at ₹4,000 for candidates in the General, OBC, PWD, NRI, or OCI categories, while candidates applying under the SC, ST, or BPL categories are required to pay ₹3,500.
