Re-NEET Results 2026: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has declared the results of the NEET UG 2026 re-examination. Out of approximately 20 lakh candidates who appeared for the exam, 1,121,185 have qualified for admission to undergraduate (UG) medical, dental, AYUSH, and allied courses. The highest score this year was 715 out of 720, jointly achieved by Aryan Gupta from Punjab and Panshul Bansal from Haryana. Notably, no candidate secured the full 720 marks.

According to the National Testing Agency (NTA), 19 candidates scored above 700 marks, while 17 candidates secured more than 705 marks. The top 17 rankers hail from eight states: Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Bihar, Tamil Nadu, and Telangana.
Re-NEET Results 2026: Top Scores and Performance
A total of 138 candidates secured 690 marks or higher, with these top performers coming from 66 cities across the country. The score distribution released by the NTA also reveals that:

Re-NEET Results 2026: Girls Outperform Boys
Girls outperformed boys in this year’s examination as well. Girls constitute more than 58 percent of all qualifying candidates. The qualification rate for girls stood at 56.8 percent, compared to 55.1 percent for boys. Counseling Process
Following the declaration of results, the counseling process for medical admissions is expected to commence on schedule. The Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) will conduct counseling for the 15% All India Quota seats in MBBS and BDS courses, whereas counseling for State Quota seats will be conducted by the respective state authorities.
The NTA has advised candidates to rely solely on official counselling websites, such as neet.nta.nic.in, mcc.nic.in, and the counselling portals of the respective states, for accurate information and updates.
