NTA NEET to Reconduct: A few days after the cancellation of the NEET UG 2026 examination, originally held on May 3, due to an alleged paper leak, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the new date for the exam. The NEET UG 2026 re-examination will now be conducted on June 21. With the schedule now released, candidates can expect the agency to issue admit cards four to five days before the examination.

NTA NEET to Reconduct: No Additional Registration fee will be Charged to Candidates for Appearing in the re-examination

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has already clarified that no additional registration fee will be charged to candidates for appearing in the re-examination of NEET UG 2026. Students who had already registered for the May 3 examination will be eligible to appear for the June 21 examination without making any fresh payment.

Amidst ongoing investigations in Rajasthan following the alleged NEET UG 2026 paper leak incident, the National Testing Agency (NTA) announced the cancellation of the NEET-UG examination, held on May 3, on May 12.

The NTA stated: “Based on information subsequently investigated by the NTA in coordination with central agencies, and the investigative findings shared by law enforcement agencies, and to ensure that transparency within the system is maintained, the National Testing Agency, with the approval of the Government of India, has decided to cancel the NEET (UG) 2026 examination conducted on May 3, 2026.”
