Expected Re-Exam NEET 2026 cut-off marks (Safe Score): Following the participation of over 22.79 lakh candidates in the NEET-UG 2026 re-exam on June 21, students are now awaiting the provisional answer key and expected cut-offs. Although the National Testing Agency (NTA) has not yet released the official results, coaching experts have begun estimating category-wise cut-offs based on the paper’s difficulty level, trends from previous years, and the total number of candidates.
Cut-offs for NEET-UG vary by category and depend on several factors, such as the total number of candidates, the number of available seats, and candidate performance on the day of the exam. To remain competitive for government medical college seats, a score of over 700 is typically required for the General category, whereas the cut-off is significantly lower for reserved categories.
