National Medical Commission Reopens Application Window for Eligibility Certificate: Apply by October 7

Eligibility Certificate: NMC Eligibility Certificate Window: The National Medical Commission (NMC) has reopened the online application window for the eligibility certificate. According to a notice from the Ethics and Medical Registration Board (EMRB), this window is open exclusively to those who were unable to complete the process during the initial application period. They can now apply for the eligibility certificate via the official website, application.nmc.org.in.

Candidates can submit their applications through the designated NMC portal until 6 PM on October 7, 2026. The NMC has provided this additional opportunity following numerous requests from candidates who faced difficulties submitting their applications during the previous window. Applicants are advised to complete their applications by the deadline this time.

The NMC has also stated that candidates must ensure their applications are complete before submission, as incomplete applications will be rejected, and the NMC will not be held responsible for such instances.

Candidates are advised not to wait until the last date to apply and to submit their applications as soon as possible. They are also urged to strictly follow NMC guidelines during submission and ensure that all required information is filled in correctly.

The official announcement further mentions that “several checks and verifications are conducted during the issuance of the certificate of competence to determine eligibility under the existing rules.” Applicants are advised to regularly check their emails and the online portal for upcoming updates and announcements.
