IIT-Bombay Graduate Sets New Record With International Job Offer Worth ₹3.7 Crore
2,174 students were registered for the campus placement period from July 2022 to June 2023 and 1,845 of them actively participated in the placements, the highest number ever.
Mumbai: In its recently concluded annual placement drive, the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay (IIT-Bombay) secured the institute’s highest ever international job offer worth ₹ 3.7 crore per annum. In an official release, IIT-Bombay also said that one student was placed within the country on a package of ₹ 1.7 crore. This represents a substantial increase over last year’s international offer of ₹2.1 crore, while the domestic offer for the previous year was slightly higher at ₹1.8 crore annually.
IIT-Bombay has not released the names of the students who have received these offers.
Sixteen job offers with an annual salary of more than ₹ 1 crore were accepted by IIT-Bombay students. According to the release on placements 2022-23, they also accepted 194 out of 300 pre-placement offers.

Companies from the US, Japan, UK, Netherlands, Hong Kong and Taiwan made 65 job offers to IIT-Bombay students.
Some of the companies recruiting are Accenture Solutions, Airbus India, Microsoft India, Morgan Stanley, McKinsey, Procter & Gamble, Qualcomm, Shell India, Texas Instruments and Tata Steel.
