IIT Kanpur Entrepreneurship Cell: What Happened?

The Entrepreneurship Cell of the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur, in collaboration with the South Korean startup accelerator Unicorn Incubator, organized its flagship business model pitching competition, UpStart 2025, in Seoul, South Korea.

The event featured 12 startups, along with prominent investors and VCs. Evify, one of the regional winners of Upstart India, was present at this cross-border event as part of the Indian delegation from Startup India, as stated in the press release.  The release also highlighted that this was the first time the event was held internationally, showcasing the growth of UpStart and IIT Kanpur’s Entrepreneurship Cell over the past few years. This marks the first time UpStart has been held outside of India, signifying its expansion from a national to an international platform.
