NEET UG 2024 Counselling: MCC Opens Portal to Fill Seats for Medical Colleges

The committee will accept the seat details from the participating institutes for UG counselling 2024 on the IntraMCC portal till July 20.

NEET UG 2024 Counselling: While students are waiting for the NEET UG Supreme Court decision and the date of counselling for 2024 academic session, the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) today issued a notice asking medical colleges to register their seats on the official portal-mcc.nic.in.

The committee will accept the seat details from the participating institutes for UG counselling 2024 on the IntraMCC portal till July 20.

The institutions participating in UG Counseling 2024 are informed that the IntraMCC portal is now available for submission of UG seats. Therefore, the institutions are requested to start registering their seats on the portal as soon as possible so that the process of contribution of seats can be completed on time,” read the official notice.

The notice also mentioned that the user ID and password required by the institution to access the portal is the same as in previous years. If they have forgotten their password or want to create a new password, they are also provided with the ‘Forgot Password’ facility.

In case of any technical queries, the institute can contact MCC on the following contact numbers between 10 AM to 6 PM – 011-69227413, 69227416, 69227419, and 69227423.

Additionally, for NEET UG 2024 counselling, the Center has said that the counseling will begin in the third week of July and will be conducted for four rounds. However, if students are found using any unfair means or malpractice during or after any stage of counseling they will be cancelled.

NEET UG counseling includes 15 per cent All India Quota seats allotted for Children of Insured Persons (IP Quota) in various Central Universities, Government Colleges, Deemed Universities and even ESIC Medical Colleges and Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC) Pune. Seats will be included.
