Indian Youth in America Have Been Pushed, Thrown on the Ground, hit, Handcuffed, Abused and Detained.
People familiar with the incident said that the Indian youth illegally entered the US without a valid visa and will now be deported back to his home-Haryana, INDIA. This is in line with a court order.
On June 8th, A video on Social Media was shared by an NRI; in the video, an Indian youth was pushed, thrown, assaulted, handcuffed and detained at Newark airport in New Jersey. The video got noticed, and people interacted with the video; the video went viral.
People familiar with the incident said that the Indian youth illegally entered the US without a valid visa and will now be deported back to his home-Haryana, INDIA. This is in line with a court order.
In transit through Newark airport, US authorities cleared that his behavior was not fit for travel due to his objectionable behavior. Hence, he was restrained and sent to a medical facility, he will be deported once he is medically fit to travel, One of the persons who told this on the condition of anonymity also informed that “Our”consulate in New York is actively engaging Us authorities on the same matter.
On a social media post, the US embassy sent a strong message by saying that they are not going to tolerate illegal entry and abuse of visas. They also said that genuine visitors can visit any time and The US welcomes them, but there is no scope of tolerance for illegal entry, visa abusers or violation of the US law.
