Big Update by Google Gemini, A step closer to ‘Hands-Free’ AI

Google Gemini: Google is rolling out a new update for its AI venture-Gemini. Google dreams for Gemini to be ‘hands-free’ AI assistant, recent updates and advancements suggests that Samsung is getting a step closer to their vision.

Summary of daily emails, blog posts, outfit suggestions, reading out unread emails and many more.. All of this is now made possible with Scheduled Actions. You can schedule and manage up to 10 tasks anytime. Gemini is now capable of performing tasks based on time, specific dates or events. To schedule tasks you just have to go to the ‘Scheduled actions’ tab under settings on mobile/desktop.

Gemini can now pause, edit, or delete actions whenever needed. And even for consistent location related services the Gemini will remember the user’s original location.

To keep users updated, Gemini will be sending push notifications on your device, once the tasks are scheduled, without even the need to open the app.

This update is increasing their competition with chat. With this update, Google has pushed its AI tool Gemini beyond just the chat bot and is now transforming it into a truly proactive digital assistant.
