Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy announced on Thursday that Harvard University will launch its executive education courses in Hyderabad starting this December for interested individuals.
According to an official statement, Reddy met with a delegation of UK business schools and stated that the state government is taking steps to transform Telangana into a ‘global knowledge hub.’ The delegation included Lord Karan Bilimoria (UK House of Lords), Janaka Pushpanathan (British Council), Flora Hamilton (CEO, Chartered Association of Business Schools), and representatives from the British Deputy High Commission.
During the meeting with the UK business school delegation, the Chief Minister emphasised that the Telangana government is moving rapidly to turn the state into a ‘global knowledge hub.’ On Thursday, he met with a 30-member delegation representing various UK universities at the MCR HRD Institute.
He noted that the arrival of foreign educational institutions in Hyderabad would facilitate collaboration with industries and boost research activities in the city. Earlier this year, Reddy had participated in a six-day leadership program at Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government.
