WBJEE Result 2024: West Bengal JEE Result 2024: West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board released the WBJEE 2024 result today (June 6) at 3 pm. Candidates who have appeared for the exam can check their individual results on the official website wbjeeb.nic.in.
Announced by WBJEE Board Chairman Malayendu Saha, a record-breaking number of 112,963 students cleared the WBJEE exam, with Kingshuk Patra of Bankura District School emerging as the top scorer.

Students who appeared for the examination need to enter their registration number/roll number and password to check the scorecard. WBJEE choice-filling and choice-locking process will start soon on the official website.
This year, the WBJEE exam was held on April 28. The exam was conducted in two shifts every day – the first shift was from 11 am to 1 pm, and the second shift was from 2 pm to 4 pm. The duration of the exam was two hours.
WBJEE Result 2024: When and Where to Check Scorecard
The result will be declared at 2 pm, but the link will be activated at 4 pm. Once the scorecard is released, students can check the result on the official website – wbjeeb.nic.in.
To check the scorecard, candidates have to click on the “Exam Result” section available on the home page and then select the result link. After that, enter your required credentials, click on ‘Submit’, the scorecard will appear on the screen. It is advised to download and save the scorecard for future reference.
Around one lakh candidates appeared for the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination. A senior WBJEE official said students wrote the papers for admission to BTech and BPharma courses at 328 examination centers – including three centers in the north-eastern region of the country.
There were 50 questions for Mathematics, 30 for Physics and 30 for Chemistry in three categories, there was negative marking for Category 1 and 2, but no negative marking for Category 3. Mathematics paper carries 100 marks, and Physics and Chemistry paper carries 50 marks each. Candidates will have to answer the questions on the OMR sheet with black/blue pen.
Those who clear the cut-off will be called for the counseling session. The counseling dates will be notified by the board soon. It is a common entrance examination for admission to undergraduate courses in engineering and technology, pharmacy and architecture in universities, government colleges and self-financed institutions in the state.
